The laboratory for processing technology - moulded parts contains a large number of machines used for common plastics processing methods. These are all modern processing machines, most of which are less than 5 years old and are also equipped with a wide range of special features. These include three injection moulding machines, one of which is a multi-component machine and an all-electric machine, a thermoforming machine, a rubber injection press, a PUR machine and a blow moulding machine.
In addition, there are various rheometers in the laboratory that allow the special flow conditions of the plastics to be recorded and described.
Students work on all machines in the form of internships, project work or Bachelor's and Master's theses.
