• Determination of the average molecular weight. Semi-automatic measurement with ViscoClock. 

Refractive index measurement (Room A.2.19)

• Measurement of the optical refractive index of transparent plastics for the inspection of optical components or the differentiation of plasticisers. 

Thermal conductivity (Room A.1.25)

• Determination of the thermal conductivity of plastics - both of insulating materials with λ < 0.1 W/mK using the plate method and the transient hot bridge method for all plastics 

Ultrasonic testing (Room A.1.25)

• Non-destructive testing of fibre composite plastics in particular for defects, delaminations and other internal flaws using ultrasound coupling in the MHz range.
